Straw Wattles (Stenlog) & Fiber Rolls
Details
Straw wattles are made from photo degradable plastic netting and filled with straw or hay. Straw wattles are semi-permeable barriers used to detain surface runoff long enough to reduce flow velocity and promote infiltration. Their main purpose is to break up slope length. Also available in 100% Biodegradable Logs.
- 9″ Stenlog – 15/pallet – usually installed with 18″ wood stakes
- 12″Stenlog – 10/pallet – usually installed with 24″ wood stakes
Our Bio fiber rolls are 100% biodegradable field constructed sediment filtration system. The Bio rolls, are manufactured from either 100% Agricultural Straw or a Straw/Coconut fiber blend and stitched with cotton thread between two leno woven biodegradable jute nets.
- Bio 3 Fibre Roll – 100% Straw with Jute Mesh
- Bio 4 Fibre roll – 70% Straw 30& Coconut with Jute mesh

Silt Fence
Details
Silt fences are often temporary sediment control device used on construction sites, best used in combination with other erosion control products. Silt fences are widely used on construction sites due to their low cost and simple design to retain sediment in place where soil is being disturbed by construction processes.
Typical fences consists of geotextile stretched between 2″ x 2″ wood stakes or metal T-posts. The stakes are installed on the downhill side of the fence, and the bottom edge of the fabric is trenched into the soil and back filled on the uphill side. The design/placement of the silt fence should create a pooling of runoff, which then allows sedimentation to occur.
The fence is not designed to concentrate or channel storm water. The fence is installed on a site before soil disturbance begins, and is placed down-slope from the disturbance area. Custom logo silt fence available with minimum order.
- Roadbuilder AT Spec – 2m spacing between Stakes
- Contractor Grade – 3m spacing between Stakes
- 100% Biodegradable AT Spec– tight woven natural Jute textile with 2 m spacing between stakes

Coir 700 / 900
Details
Coir mat is manufactured using 100% natural, well cleaned, evenly spun, and biodegradable coir yarn. It is excellent in holding seeds and soil in place while vegetation is developed. As it biodegrades over time it releases beneficial nutrients to the soil to help further increase the vegetative development. Coir Mat naturally absorbs water while still maintaining its structural integrity.
- Channel Stabilization
- Stream Bank Restoration
- Vegetation Root System Stabilization

EnviroRidge
Details
Enviro-Ridge is an improved, patented, low profile lightweight, flexible and permeable plastic check dam for sediment control in ditch channels. Enviro-Ridge reduces water velocity by distributing water over a wider area of the ditch bottom, facilitating sedimentation and re-vegetation. By dissipating energy and reducing flow velocity.
Enviro-Ridge causes sediment to settle near the upslope side of each berm. In addition, its triangular configuration
provides a protective shelter for newly emerging vegetation.
